I have no experience of using a computer; will I be able to
easily use Strelitzia?
With minimal training and a little practice you will easily be able to
use Strelitzia. We have found that floristry staff with little or no computer
knowledge, very quickly got to grips with the software. To quote a member
of Flower By Nattrass' staff that at the outset was "dreading" having to use a
computer, only a month after the introduction of Strelitzia, announced "I don't know how we managed without it!"

Will all my staff have access to all areas of Strelitzia or can I prevent staff
from accessing for example, the sales accounting package?
Each user has their individual operator ID and you can program each operator to have access to only certain areas. E.g. a junior sales assistant would only be able to use the order entering facility and make up areas, whereas a more senior member of staff could be entered into the system to have access to order entering, make up and delivery lists and your shop manageress has access to all areas including the sales accounting.

Is it possible to make the item list unique to my shop e.g. with a list of items available on my website or in my design book?
Yes. The order item menu's are completely flexible and accessible for you to program them with whatever item description you want, be it design book numbers or colour choices.

How many delivery routes could I organise for one day?
It is possible to have between 1 and 20 vans on the system. Orders for delivery to a certain area can be allocated to separate vans, so on a single day you could have, for example 8 delivery routes all allocated to different vans and routed separately. This facility is particularly useful at peak times when volumes are larger and you may have more drivers.

Can I access my client's previous orders easily?
Yes. Go to "view and amend" and use the search facility to enter the client's name, a list of that client's previous orders in date order will appear on the screen.

How often will the software be updated?
Our technical staff are constantly updating Strelitzia and will add new elements according to demand. Some upgrades are tiny tweaks that you may hardly notice others will be complete new elements. Therefore there is no exact timescale to this.

How will I know the software has been updated?
The software will be updated automatically via our web server. A box will appear on the screen asking you to restart your computer, after the restart Strelitzia will be upgraded to the new version. You will be notified of major updates before they occur.
